As a Westin Well-Being Advocate, I get the privilege of embarking on many exciting journeys. In April this year, I conducted a 3D2N Dance Escape, held at The Westin Melbourne.
The weekend escape kicked off with some invigorating refreshments: a holistic selection of house-made dark chocolate, fruits and nuts. Between bites, I got to meet and speak with all of the guests of the wellness escape. My husband and I led the group in a 90-minute fitness journey showing them how to stay fit with our routine of salsa and cha cha dance moves. It was a lot of fun teaching and dancing with everyone and incredibly rewarding seeing them pick up the moves after a short amount of time.
Our day ended with a treat to an amazing 3-course meal in The Wine Room. My particular favorite was the salmon, served with tart grapefruit gel, black garlic, and avocado purée. Absolutely delicious! We stayed on long after the meal, talking to the girls about their wellness journey. Michael and I had so much fun!
We both slept like babies on the Westin Heavenly Bed and in the morning we worked up a sweat with another energising dance class, followed by a SuperFoodsRx breakfast. We enjoyed a spread of nutritious parfaits, buckwheat pancakes, sautéed kale with mushroom, refreshing smoothies and more.
We had an amazing weekend and it was an absolute pleasure meeting other women who are also dedicated to improving their health and wellness. It was inspiring to hear their well-being journeys and approaches. Take me back.
